DAY 1 | Arrival. Tbilisi city tour

Arrival to Tbilisi International Airport. Meeting at the airport with company representative.
Transfer to Tbilisi Hotel. Check in. Accommodation.

DAY 2 / Trip to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Kazbegi. On the way to Kazbegi you will visit Ananuri Architectural Complex and Jinvali Water Reservoir is easy via Georgian Military Highway. Continuing the route to Kazbegi through popular Georgian winter resort Gudauri. Arrival to Kazbegi, Stepantsminda. The sightseeing tour includes the visits to: Gergeti Trinity Church is located near settlement Stapantsminda, on the Gergeti Mountain (2200m a.s.l.), one of the highest and most beautiful peaks of Caucasus and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. You can enjoy the breathtaking views to the mount Kazbebi. Mount Kazbegi is the third highest mountain in Georgia and the seventh highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains. The summit lies directly to the west of the town of Stepantsminda and is the most prominent geographic feature of the area. Mt. Kazbek is the highest peak of Eastern Georgia. Departure back to Tbilisi.

DAY 3 / Kakheti: Sighnaghi city

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Sighnaghi. Sightseeing tour around the city, we are going to visit: Bodbe monastery - is an orthodox monastic complex, originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century.
Visit to Bodbe monastery - is an orthodox monastic complex and the seat of the Bishops of Bodbe located 2 km from the town of Sighnaghi. Originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians.
Visit to local vineyard, stop for lunch with wine. Culinary masterclass.
Departure back to Tbilisi for overnight.

DAY 4 / Gori – Uplistsikhe – Kutaisi

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Gori: here you will have possibility to visit Iosif Stalin’s house museum. Next visit will be to Uplistsikhe cave town fortress — identified by archaeologists as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. Strategically located in the heartland of ancient kingdom of Kartli (or Iberia as it was known to the Classical authors), it emerged as a major political and religious center of the country.
Departure to Kutaisi. Sightseeing tour around Kutaisi. Visit to Bagrati & Gelati. Sightseeing tour around Kutaisi with visits to Bagrati Cathedral & Gelaty Monastery.
Bagrati Cathedral is a jewel of medieval architecture built in the eleventh century. One of the biggest religious sites in the country. The cathedral was commissioned by King Bagrat III and still carries his name today.
Gelaty Monastery, situated near Bagrati, was built in 1106 by King David IV, also known as David the Builder in Georgian history. The Monastery also features the burial site of the king. Gelati used to be one of the earliest educational institutions; it had an academy on premises. Since 1994, both Bagrati and Gelati are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites as a single entity.

DAY 5 / Prometheus cave & Batumi city

Breakfast at the hotel.
Trip to Prometheus cave: the cave’s history goes back to the Greek myth of Prometheus chained in the Caucasus and the Argonauts' voyage to Colchis for the Golden Fleece. Consequently, this cave expresses the most mysterious and wonderful world of the Argonauts and Prometheus, after whom the cave was named. Upon finishing the journey, the management provides a boat for leaving the cave. You float and move slowly for 300 meters with accompanied music and beautifully illuminated stalagmites in the background.
Departure to Batumi. Sightseeing tour upon arrival: Enjoy a panoramic tour of Batumi Boulevard and Musical Fountains, striking parks and breathtaking monuments, of one which is the famous “Statue of Love”, a 7m steel sculpture of a man and a woman at the seashore boulevard of Batumi. The figure moves toward each other and merge into one piece every 10 minutes. You will have possibility to visit: Seaside Park (Boulevard). Square of Europe, 6 may park & Nuriegel lake. DAY 6 / Borjomi park and Vardzia caves

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from Batumi to Borjomi National park. Walking tour around Borjomi park. Borjomi gained its special reputation owing to mineral sources, of almost legendary status. The water is rich with elements necessary for the organism and is the best treatment, or means of avoiding, numerous illnesses. Tasting water from mineral springs.
Departure to Vardzia. Sightseeing tour around Vardzia. It is the largest cave complex in Georgia with 3000 caves. In reality it is a cave-palace-monastery built not by dwarfs, but by Georgians in the Caucasus for their fabled queen Tamar. Today the place is maintained by a small group of zealous monks. About three hundred apartments and halls remain visitable and in some tunnels the old irrigation pipes still bring drinkable water.
Departure to Akhaltsikhe for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 / Mtskheta

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Tbilisi. On the way to the capital visit to Mtskheta.
Visit to Mtskheta. Due to its historical significance and numerous ancient monuments, the «Historical Monuments of Mtskheta» became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
Jvari Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century, it is situated on a cliff above Mtskheta. The name is translated as the Monastery of the Cross. It is the culmination of a number of artistic and architectural aspirations in early Christian Georgian.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is one of the most sacred places in Georgia and, along with Jvari Monastery, the clear highlight of a trip to Mtskheta. It was founded in 1010, built on the site of Georgia’s first church, and contains the graves of the ancient Georgian kings, including Sidonia, who was said to have been buried holding Christ’s robe.
