    Day 1 | Arrival to Kutaisi

    Arrival to Kutaisi International Airport. Meet and transfer to Kutaisi hotel.
    After accommodation, we are taking you for the sightseeing tour around Kutaisi, which includes the visits to the following sites: Sightseeing tour around Kutaisi with visits to Bagrati Cathedral & Gelaty Monastery.
    Bagrati Cathedral is a jewel of medieval architecture built in the eleventh century. One of the biggest religious sites in the country. The cathedral was commissioned by King Bagrat III and still carries his name today.
    Gelaty Monastery, situated near Bagrati, was built in 1106 by King David IV, also known as David the Builder in Georgian history. The Monastery also features the burial site of the king. Gelati used to be one of the earliest educational institutions; it had an academy on premises. Since 1994, both Bagrati and Gelati are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites as a single entity.

    Day 2 | Kutaisi – Uplistsikhe – Mtskheta – Tbilisi

    Departure to Uplistsikhe cave town fortress — identified by archaeologists as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. Strategically located in the heartland of ancient kingdom of Kartli (or Iberia as it was known to the Classical authors), it emerged as a major political and religious center of the country.
    Arrival to Mtskheta. Visit to Jvari Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century, it is situated on a cliff above Mtskheta. The name is translated as the Monastery of the Cross. It is the culmination of a number of artistic and architectural aspirations in early Christian Georgian. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is one of the most sacred places in Georgia and, along with Jvari Monastery, the clear highlight of a trip to Mtskheta. It was founded in 1010, built on the site of Georgia's first church, and contains the graves of the ancient Georgian kings, including Sidonia, who was said to have been buried holding Christ's robe. Due to its historical significance and numerous ancient monuments, the "Historical Monuments of Mtskheta" became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.

    Tbilisi city tour: Holy Trinity Cathedral, Metechi church with panoramic views over the old part of the city, Sioni cathedral, Anchiskhati Church, Narikala fortress, Old streets of the city, Sulphur Baths in Abanotubani, Meidan Square, Chardin Road, Freedom Square, House of Melik Azarianc (Passage), Bridge of Peace, Rustaveli Avenue, Shota Rustaveli Theatre, Vorontsov Palace, Pantheon on Mtatsminda Mount, Turtle Lake and more other sites of the city...
    In the evening welcome dinner with folk show program.

    Day 4 | Tbilisi – Sighnaghi – Tsinandali – Tbilisi

    Departure to Georgia’s famous wine region, Kakheti.
    Departure to Sighnaghi. Sightseeing tour around the city, we are going to visit: Bodbe monastery - is an orthodox monastic complex, originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century. After Sighnaghi vsit to Gurjaani Wine house produces its own vintage wine (Kvevri), which is decorated with appropriate etiquette and production history. Visit to a private winery in the village of Velistsikhe. Enjoy lunch with homemade dishes, wine tasting and learn how “churchkhela” (Georgian sweets) is made. After lunch visit to Tsinandali House-Museum - the historical home of Alexandre Chavchavadze and his family, is one of Georgia’s most important cultural sites. As a museum and cultural center, it can offer an extraordinary experience for the general public, tourists, educators, students, and researchers. Tsinandali's immense winery - the great wine-making tradition of eastern Georgia will be a theme in many of the features envisioned in this space. Wine degustation.

    Day 6 | Tbilisi – Ananuri – Jinvali – Stepantsminda – Tbilisi

    Departure to Stepantsminda. On the way to Kazbegi Ananuri Architectural Complex and Jinvali Water Reservoir via Georgian Military Highway - only an hour non-stop drive from Tbilisi is needed to dive into harmony of this beauty. We make a stop to see Ananuri Architectural Complex - fortified ensemble, dating from the XVII century, is located on the left bank of river Aragvi, in a magnificent setting at the very shore of Jinvali Water Reservoir. This architectural complex has witnessed several serious battles throughout its history.
    Arrival to Stepantsminda. During the tour you will visit: Gergeti Trinity Church is located near settlement Stapantsminda, on the Gergeti Mountain (2200m a.s.l.), one of the highest and most beautiful peaks of Caucasus and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. You can enjoy the breathtaking views to the mount Kazbek. It is the third highest mountain in Georgia and the seventh highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains. The summit lies directly to the west of settlement Stepantsminda and is the most prominent geographic feature of the area. Mt. Kazbek is the highest peak of Eastern Georgia.

    Day 7 | Tbilisi – Borjomi - Kutaisi

    Departure to Borjomi. The resort gained its special reputation owing to mineral sources, of almost legendary status. The water is rich with elements necessary for the organism and is the best treatment, or means of avoiding, numerous illnesses. Tasting water from mineral springs. Visit to Prometheus Cave - one of the richest caves in Europe, characterized by the variety of underground rivers and beautiful landscapes. Here you will have a chance to take a boat trip and enjoy beautiful surroundings. Tskaltubo – famous Georgian Spa Resort distinguished with unique warm mineral spring waters (natural temperature 3335 degrees).
